Online Learning Opportunities / Content Providers

As libraries develop stronger web presences, they will serve more patrons from their homes, offices and schools. Online classes are another way to reach these remote patrons. Tutorials and instructional sites offer community services like literacy programs and computer classes. They teach patrons how to use the library and simultaneously teach them day-to-day skills.

These entities provide training on the use of one or more distance learning technologies. Some of these entities provide training from a distance while others may provide live, in-person training.

Third grader Joshua Lambert captivated kids and parents alike with his often hilarious comments about his treasure hunting experiences, while he answered questions and offered tips to kids about starting a collection of their own.
